Development for Peace International (DFP International) is a US-based 501 C (3) registered non-profit organization with an office in Hurst, DFW Metroplex, TX.
The organization was founded in 2007 keeping in mind to contribute to the development of peaceful societies everywhere in the world where human beings can live in an environment of peace and dignity. The organization is a grass root organization run by a small group of people with revenue generated by donations from members, friends, and well-wishers.

Now, in 2022, the organization is 15 years old. In these years, the organization has assisted several needy people in the USA, and Nepal in the sectors of natural disaster relief, orphan and vulnerable children education, women empowerment, etc.
OVERVIEW
We believe that we can save more lives
The one decade long armed conflict in Nepal was ended with Peace Agreement in November 2006. Due to the conflict, the socio-economic sector was suffering most and, consequently, the rural women and vulnerable children were bearing all the loads in their shoulders which were already overloaded in fetching way outs for day-to-day basic needs.
Some people residing in DFW metroplex of Texas, USA liked to contribute in the post conflict activities like peace building and social empowerment in Nepal. So, they initiated registration process to establish a non-profit organization and start helping needy people in organized way. Thus, this organization bearing “Development for Peace” as its name and 501 C (3) status came to existence in 2007.
